How It Works

Two phases. Qualify on knowledge, win on nerve.

Phase One

The Elimination

  • Live Kahoot quiz, every team plays at once.
  • 20 questions across mixed categories.
  • Faster correct answers score more — speed matters.
  • One device per team.
  • Top 8 teams advance.
Phase Two

The Auction

  • Every finalist starts with a ₹5,000 virtual purse.
  • 20 lots go under the hammer — each lot is a question.
  • Bidding is blind and sealed. You can't see rivals' bids.
  • Highest bidder buys the right to answer.
  • Mystery Lots hide their category until sold.

Questions

Can my team have members from different branches?
Yes. Inter-branch teams are welcome — bring the widest spread of knowledge you can find.
Do I need prior quizzing experience?
Not at all. Phase One is general quizzing across mixed categories, and Phase Two rewards nerve and judgement as much as knowledge. Knowing what an answer is worth matters as much as knowing the answer.
Can we register with two people and find a third later?
No. All three members must be entered at registration, and team composition is locked once the deadline passes.
What do we need to bring?
One charged phone or laptop per team for the Kahoot round and the live auction. All other devices must be switched off and stowed.
Is the money real?
Sadly not. Every finalist gets an identical ₹5,000 virtual purse. Spend it badly and it's gone — bids are not refunded on wrong answers.
What happens if we're the top bidder but get it wrong?
You score nothing and your bid is not returned. There's no bounce to other teams — the points are simply lost. Bid accordingly.
